*** Sharing on behalf of Southampton City Council ***

Please see below a message from Debbie, the new appointed assistant service development officer for Southampton local authority. The Nhs Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wheelchair service’s Community Health Engagement Officer will have involvement with this project.

“I am currently part of a team in the integrated commissioning unit that is looking, in depth, at the current offers across the city for inclusive and meaningful opportunities for people with Learning disabilities and/or autism/neurodiversity.

Our aim is to try to improve and enhance the existing provisions and the most important voices that we need to hear and listen to are yourselves and your family members/service users.

Co-production with you all is vital and with this in mind I have created the 2 attached questionnaires.”

If you can and would like to, please take the time to complete the questionnaire

And return the completed forms to Chandlers ford Service center reception desk, to give to the Cheo.
Alternatively, you can email it back to hants.iow.wcs@millbrookhealthcare.co.uk

You can also pick up a copy of the questionnaires in the clinic waiting area in the Chandlers Ford Service Centre.

Thank you.

Do you live in Southampton? Are you or your loved ones waiting for hospital treatment?
Healthwatch Southampton are asking the public to share their experience and views of waiting for hospital treatment.
Many people have had their hospital treatment delayed by the pandemic – are you one of them? We want to know if you’re getting the advice and information you need while you wait. We also want to know if you would consider treatment at an alternative hospital in Winchester if it was available.
It’s vital that NHS decision makers hear your experience so that your views can inform work being undertaken by the NHS to reduce waiting times for planned hospital treatment. Whether it’s gynecological surgery, a knee replacement or a biopsy you’re waiting for, if you’ve got a story to tell, we’re here to listen.
We will be anonymously sharing your feedback with NHS decision makers to help them understand what needs to be put in place to better support people waiting for treatment like you. So, whether your experience is good or could be improved – we want to hear it.
Fill out the survey here: https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=nDUCjalMuk6RAyBFQXzrCeAfLbRj9mxDsE10JmrLZ81UNVZQTjJaNUg4TTVERTJLQlFUNjhJVEwxWS4u
The deadline for this survey is 30th June 2022. If you need the survey in another format or would like to discuss anything, call 02380 216018 or email healthwatch@southamptonvs.org.uk.
